Every year, RESO assists in organizing the Québec Entrepreneurship Contest, Sud-Ouest de Montréal division, in partnership with local CLDs.

Eligible projects:

• Newly created companies in Quebec
• Business projects aimed at creating a new company in Quebec

Local segment (Montreal Sud-Ouest division)
April 16, 2008, marked the 17th edition of the contest, local segment. The first prize in the Social Economy category was awarded to "Les Rendez-vous gospel".  The second prize the Social Economy category was awarded to "Perennia Statégie". The firts prize in the Business Operation, processing, production  category was awarded to "Les Brasseurs de Montréal". In the same category, the second prize was awarded to "Gogofrisette, meubles décoratifs et mosaïque".
