Large companies, small to medium-size businesses, microbusinesses and self-employed workers of the Sud-Ouest can count on the expertise of RESO’s Business Services advisors, who offer management consulting services, information on assistance programs, access to community investment funds, help finding commercial space and land, and help in starting a business. For those with workforce training needs, RESO also offers training services, through the cooperative training association FormaPlus.
In keeping with RESO’s mission, Business Services seeks to contribute to business development, and job creation and retention through a global and integrated approach with partners in the community.
Business Service’s approach builds on innovation and experimentation. It is based on a business proposal’s viability and the conditions that must be created to ensure that viability. It is an approach that links economic development to social development, takes a project’s structural elements and integration into the urban environment into account and encourages the entrepreneur’s involvement in the community (hiring locally, buying locally, business-to-business cooperation, etc.). It is an approach that acknowledges the increase in human resources value created by linking training programs, employability and business development. And last, but not least, it is complementary to the approach of public sector partners in economic development.
