BECOME A MEMBER OF RESO TO BUILD THE SUD-OUEST TOGETHER

Since 1989, RESO has offered services adapted to the Sud-Ouest community?s needs, and contributed to a number of project realizations:

  • Development of the Lachine Canal
  • Establishment of numerous businesses
  • Creation of social economy enterprises
  • Preservation of threatened jobs
  • Support for cultural projects
  • Revitalization of commercial thoroughfares
  • Access to training and the job market for thousands of people
  • Implementation of a youth employment strategy
  • Access to financing and support for new business startups

If you have a project, RESO is there to listen, offer its support and guide you through to completion.

With the participation and support of its members, RESO articulates the community?s aspirations on local issues, providing direction to development in the Sud-Ouest.

Become a member of RESO:

  • To learn about projects underway in the Sud-Ouest.
  • To express your opinion on development in the community.
  • To help influence decisions affecting the Sud-Ouest.
  • To take a part in your district?s day-to-day life.
  • To play an active role in building the Sud-Ouest.

Individual Members

If you live or work in the Sud-Ouest, you may become an individual member with voting rights at RESO?s annual assembly. If you do not live or work in the Sud-Ouest, you may become a pledging individual member of RESO. Cost of individual membership is $5 and is valid for three years (unemployed people pay no fee until the time they find work).

To become a member of RESO, complete the membership form and send it with the membership fee to RESO, 1751 Richardson St., Suite 6509, Montreal, H3K 1G6.

Associate Members

Businesses, shops, institutions, community organizations, financial institutions and unions operating in the Sud-Ouest may become associate members of RESO. Associate members have voting rights in the sectoral elections corresponding to their industry sector as well as at the annual assembly. Organizations and businesses outside the Sud-Ouest may become pledging associative members. Associate membership fee is $25 for three years.
